Each slot is 5 minutes: about 1 minute to sanitise and fit the headset and brief the player, then up to 4 minutes of battle. One station plays 96 people in an 8-hour day, about 0.3% of a 35,000 crowd, so the LED wall is how everyone else takes part.

Click or tap the feed to aim and loose an arrow. Space looses at the nearest threat, 1 calls Agneyastra, 2 calls Brahmastra. Clicking during Auto battle hands the bow back to you.

Agneyastra is a fire burst that costs a full meter. Brahmastra is a single beam of huge damage, once per session, on level 3 only.

How a slot runs

  1. Queue and hygieneThe host hands over a disposable face cover. The headset comes out of the UV cabinet.
  2. Fit and brief, about 1 minHeadset on, controllers in hand, one practice draw. The boundary line stays on the mat.
  3. Battle, up to 4 minThree levels. Clear one to unlock the next. Health resets at each level.
  4. Score on the wallDamage, level bonuses and a time bonus for a fast victory. The operator records it.
